Break Barrels are easiest to reload as they are lighter weight than the underlever or sidelever guns. Break Barrel guns do not need a separate cocking mechanism
Minimal recoil is inconsiderable, a nitro piston gun requires less practice to hold the gun properly

Perfect for the target range or the small game field, the Palco Swiss Arms TAC-1 Break Barrel Air Rifle is a great all-around air gun. Features tactical stock fitted with a rubber recoil pad. The new spring design provided added noise reduction and a smoother shot. Shoots all .22caliber/4.5mm pellets that are able to reach high speeds of 1000-1200 fps. Includes Swiss Arms 4x32 scope for consistently accurate shots.

Instead of using a coiled spring as the power plant, it uses a nitrogen-filled cylinder. The nitrogen in this cylinder is already kept under pressure and you put more pressure to it when you cock the gun. The air is held under tension until you pull the trigger.

Nitro piston extends smoothly and has less effect on the barrel so it has much less recoil. The minimal recoil of a nitro piston gun gives us several benefits. First, since the recoil is inconsiderable, a nitro piston gun requires less practice to hold the gun properly.
